Data deletion

You can ask madefromfile to delete your account and personal information. This applies whether you created your account with email and password, Google sign-in, or Facebook sign-in.

How to request deletion

Until self-service account deletion is available inside madefromfile, send your request to:

support@madefromfile.comSubject: Delete my madefromfile account

Send the request from the email address associated with your madefromfile account whenever possible.

Include enough information for us to identify the correct account.

We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deletion.

What we delete

After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymise personal information that is no longer required, which may include:

• account profile information;
• linked Google or Facebook identities;
• saved addresses;
• phone number;
• uploaded models that no longer need to be retained;
• saved configuration and account preferences; and
• other personal information associated only with the deleted account.

If you signed in with Facebook or Google, deleting your madefromfile account also removes the link between that provider identity and your madefromfile customer account.

Information we may need to keep

Some information may need to be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary for:

• completed orders;
• accounting and financial records;
• payment reconciliation;
• refunds or disputes;
• fraud prevention;
• security and audit records; or
• legal obligations.

Where possible, information that no longer needs to identify you may be anonymised rather than retained as personal information.

Deleting an account does not erase records that we are legally required or reasonably required to preserve.

Uploaded files

Uploaded files associated only with an account may be deleted once they are no longer required for an active order, dispute, manufacturing record or other legitimate operational purpose.

Files associated with an active order may be retained until that order and any related support issue are complete.

Facebook users

If you used Facebook Login to access madefromfile, you may request deletion using the same process above.

We will verify the request, remove the Facebook identity link from your madefromfile account and process deletion of applicable madefromfile data.

Removing madefromfile from your Facebook account does not automatically delete records that madefromfile is required to retain for completed orders, payments, security or legal obligations.

Google users

If you used Google to sign in, the same deletion process applies.

Deleting madefromfile data does not delete your Google account.

Processing time

We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period.

If we cannot delete specific information, we will explain why where appropriate.
